Bev Moroz is president of West 49 Parallel Design, a Toronto-based firm that won two awards in A.R.E.'s 2005 Design Award competition, including Grand Prize for The Bay's intimates department. West 49 Parallel also has won several awards for store and fixture design from the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario, including a Silver Award for Eatons Home Fashion Floors store.

On the international front, West 49 Parallel has seen the completion of its latest design for the renovation of Trends, a 3,000-sq.-ft. men’s, women’s, junior shoe store, and the newly designed and rebranded AS Cooper department store, both in Hamilton, Bermuda. In 2007, the firm is renovating the 6,000-sq.-ft. Port O Call restaurant and lounge, also in downtown Hamilton, Bermuda.
