Stride Rite
Jim Harte has served as director of retail environments at Stride Rite since April 2008. His previous position at Stride Rite was director of retail design and construction for Stride Rite Children’s Group starting in 2001. Prior to that, he was manager of design and construction for the company.
Harte recently directed the evolution and expansive growth of Stride Rite. He is now capitalizing on his knowledge of store design and construction to look beyond the functional aspects of this area and exploring how retail is affected by the execution of these items. This will assist Stride Rite into being able to expand beyond its traditional marketplace and allow the continuing growth of the company.
Stride Rite has been the recipient of two Store of the Year awards from Chain Store Age during his tenure as director of store design and construction.
Jim has more than 20 years of experience in the store design and construction industry. He is a graduate of Suffolk University with a degree in marketing communication. He has been with Stride Rite since 1989. |
