James Hilyard

 

Customer Experience, Director, Signing
Sears Department Stores

James Hilyard recently joined Sears. Previously, he was director of store environments and visual merchandising for Golfsmith International, a specialty retailer of golf and tennis products. There, he was responsible for all store planning, fixture design, signing, and visual merchandising.

His background includes 18 years of experience with store design, merchandising, and in-store signage at retailers such as ShopKo Stores Inc. and Kinko’s. During his tenure at ShopKo, the retailer received a 2003 NASFM Grand Prize Award in the Shop within a Store category for its home entertainment department.
