Senior Manager, Visual Merchandising & Store Design NA
Godiva Chocolatier Inc.
As senior manager of visual merchandising and store design for North America, Jose Padrón leads all aspects of the Godiva visual merchandising and store design execution across the 267 company-owned stores and wholesale operations. His responsibilities include creative design, fixture design, print production, plan-o-grams, and store design. As part of a global design group, Padrón works with counterparts in Asia and Europe to drive global brand alignment and execution. He has been growing the visual merchandising at Godiva for the last 10 years.
Prior to joining Godiva, Padrón helped Swatch relaunch its U.S. brand during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Swatch was the official timekeeper, and the visual merchandising team was responsible for the retailer’s U.S. retail shops, shop-in-shops, and the pavilion at the Atlanta games.
Training in industrial design at the Rhode Island School of Design, Padrón began his career in product design before moving to the point-of-purchase industry on the vendor side.
