Michael Trowbridge has been with Gap, Inc. for over 15 years, starting in the stores then moving to corporate in a variety of roles and departments. His corporate experience began in Visual Merchandising for Adult before moving into Procurement of props, music and music systems, printing, and finally store fixtures. From there, he moved to Banana Republic Store Design, where he was responsible for layout, design development, and fleet support of store furniture and fixtures. Currently, he manages a team of 12 in the sourcing and supply chain management of both freestanding and built-in fixtures. His extensive experience across the full development, production, and use of fixtures in the store environment is unique and allows him a full understanding of the store fixturing process.
