Sergio Barbi

Franchising Manager
O Boticário

Sergio Barbi's expertise in retail management for large store chains includes more than 15 years of experience in retail strategy, brand positioning, and domestic and international expansion. He has been responsible for the franchise system of O Boticário since 1997 and recently led a team to create the new retail design for the Brazilian cosmetics retailer. The design initiative dramatically increased the customer purchase experience with a new interior design for exclusive stores, store-in-stores, kiosks, and point-of-sale worldwide.

Prior to joining O Boticário, Barbi managed corporative retail strategies for such companies as Swensen´s, Banco Real in Brazil, and Bonfiglioli Co. He frequently writes and speaks about expansion, visual merchandising, and retail on the Latin American market. Barbi holds a B.A. in acquisitions and incorporations and is fluent in English and Portuguese.
