Vice President, Design and Development

As vice president of design and development for Bass Pro Shops, Tom Jowett works with an in-house team of architects and project managers and a fabrication shop for Bass Pro Shops and its affiliated companies. The group has a strong team focus, striving for high-quality solutions that are unique, regionalized, sustainable, and experience-oriented.

Before joining Bass Pro Shops in 1987, Jowett was vice president/director of design for Peckham Guyton Albers & Viets. His background also includes serving as a design associate for Dana Larson Roubal Architects. He received his master’s in architecture from the University of Nebraska and has been published in numerous magazines and books. Jowett has numerous national and local design awards to his credit.
