Gee, it makes a woman blush to be so coveted! Hi, I'm the 2012 Project of the Year award, made from reclaimed materials by artist Will Wagenaar. |
Winning projects for the 2012 competition have been announced, but we haven't told you which ones won A.R.E. Sustainability Awards. Care to hazard a guess? See the sneak peek and then make your predictions on LinkedIn. Plan to be there for the drama when this year's sustainability winners are announced at the A.R.E. Design Awards presentation.
The only competition focused on sustainable retail design, the A.R.E. Sustainability Awards honors retail projects for outstanding green building achievement. Now in its fourth year, the competition draws entries from around the world. Winners range from sustainable retail pioneers to first-time green builders. Entries are judged on innovation in design, integration, and benchmarks, and the highest honors go to projects with comprehensive sustainability programs that exhibit good design. Judges also may single out unique innovative sustainable elements of a project for special recognition. Sustainability Awards are judged by the A.R.E. Sustainability Council, a group of sustainability-minded industry professionals including designers, suppliers, and consultants.
Awards presentation: Feb. 29, 2012
